I don’t usually post swatches, but I found Zoya’s Fall 2014 Entice and Ignite collection at Ulta today. This was a total surprise because I haven’t seen pictures of them around anywhere and as far as I can tell they don’t officially release until September. And oops I bought six polishes.
Like most Zoya collections this one is split into two parts, one part cremes (Entice) and one part foils (Ignite). I picked up two of the creams, which are the first two swatches in the top picture: Nyssa (caramel brown) and Claire (oxblood). They both have what I think of as the typical Zoya creme formula, which is thick but easy to work with and self-leveling, and were opaque in two coats.
But what I was really drawn to were the foils, which Zoya always kicks ass at. I grabbed Autumn (burnt orange), India (burgundy), Sansa (purple-brown), and Remy (royal blue). All of them are gorgeous, although I wish Sansa was a little more vibrant (insert Game of Thrones joke here). Autumn, India, and Sansa all seem to have the same blend of shimmer in them, with purple, gold, and green bits, while Remy has a blue-gold-green blend. They really glow in the sun, as you can see in the bottom shot.
